I’m Julia. I love adding creativity to all areas of my life. I like video games, books & writing, bikes, and my cats.
I've spent much of my life striving to make each part of it as fun and creative as possible. I love to make things, whatever that may mean at any given time.
My time at Emerson College was spent doing a good amount of writing and producing/creating. I wrote essay after essay, while also creating mock PR campaigns for various companies. I participated in GlobComm, a multicultural global public relations project in which I collaborated with a virtual team made up of students from four continents to create a global public relations proposal for Zeiss, the German eyewear company.
My college years culminated in the decision to push myself in an even more creative direction. I completed my BS thesis about video games and their positive effects on mental health, in which I discussed the many ways in which video games are currently used as therapeutic tools, and how this concept can be pushed further. Now, I'm completing the final steps to begin school again in the fall, where I will be earning a second BS in Game Design.
Otherwise, I live in beautiful Arlington, MA with my partner and our two cats, Zelda and Burrito. In my free time I like to play video games (especially Legend of Zelda) or ride my bike to various spots, looking for adventure. My favorite spots around Arlington are Spy Pond and the reservoir. I love cheeseburgers, ice cream, and Disney World. Mostly, I just like to ensure that I am having fun!
